Acceptance of our services is deemed acceptance of our Terms and Conditions and as an agreement to pay our fees on time and in full.
All dogs must be up to date with vaccinations, worming and flea treatments (titre tests are accepted). You must not under any circumstances allow your dog(s) to be walked if they have a contagious condition including fleas. We reserve the right to refuse any dog(s), if it is found that your dog(s) has a contagious condition they will be taken home immediately or you will be required to collect the dog(s) from our care.
We reserve the right to make other suitable arrangements for the walking of your dog(s) in the event of an emergency i.e. your dog(s) becomes uncontrollably aggressive. We will endeavour to contact you or your emergency contact(s) first.
We reserve the right to charge for any damage caused by your dog(s). Please make us aware of anything relevant to your dog(s) before their stay so the necessary precautions can be taken. We reserve the right to deny or terminate service over safety concerns.
You agree that we as Pitchers Pet Carers can make a decision regarding any health problems that may occur in your absence, providing that it is acting in the best interest for your dog and at the advice of a qualified vet. Or alternatively, if an emergency contact is provided we will contact them for a decision on your behalf. All vet fees are to be paid in full by the customer.
We do not charge for cancellations however we would appreciate 24hrs notice for cancelled walks.
You give us permission to walk your dog in a group with other dogs.
We charge all bank holidays at time and a half.
Our first key collection is free, thereafter we charge £5 per collection which will be added to your total bill.
We do not walk dogs during thunderstorms or extreme heat but will let your dog out to the toilet and keep them company for a short time.
We will not walk dogs that are ill or appear to have a contagious condition.
We will not feed deep chested dogs in the hour presiding or after a walk due to the risk of gastric torsion.
There is always an hour window of time allowed to pick up and drop off your dog. For example, a 10am pick up can mean 9am or 11am however we do our best to arrive at the agreed time traffic depending.
We reserve the right to terminate service because of safety issues or financial concerns.
We reserve the right to either impose supplementary charges and/or terminate the agreement if the assignment changes from the description given by the client and needs more time or responsibility or if there is a change in the assignment which could not have been reasonably foreseen by either party.
We reserve the right to stop walking a dog if he or she shows aggression towards people or other dogs.
We cannot be held liable for any theft or damage to your property or injury/illness to your pet unless we can be shown to be negligent.
We like to use various social medias to keep our customers up to date with how their pet is getting on. If you do not want us to put pictures of your pet on the internet, please inform us.
If you run out of any required items for looking after your pet (i.e. cat litter, food, waste bin bags) these will be purchased by us and any costs incurred will be paid on your return.
We strongly recommend that your keep your cat(s) indoors for the duration of our visits. This is so we can give your cat(s) the best possible care and will know for definite that they are safe. if you do prefer your cat(s) to go outside during your holiday we require to sign our Cat Flap Disclaimer form. We cannot be held responsible for the loss or injury of your pet(s).
